Delhi Crippled by Power Cuts, Water Crisis and Fee Hikes—AAP Slams BJP for Inaction on PGMS Complaints

  • May 14, 2025

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has lambasted the BJP-led administration, as Delhi reels under relentless power cuts, a deepening water crisis, and surging school fees. The AAP charged the BJP government with turning a blind eye to the capital’s daily distress. With social media flooded by desperate complaints and the Public Grievance Monitoring System (PGMS) overwhelmed, AAP leaders allege the government is “missing in action” and has reduced itself to holding token meetings while citizens suffer.

The AAP demanded immediate, meaningful intervention, warning that administrative apathy is pushing the city toward a full-blown civic breakdown.

In a statement, the Aam Aadmi Party has stated, “Parents across Delhi are raising alarm over skyrocketing school fees—what has the government done in the last two months? Absolutely nothing. Power cuts are being reported from every corner of Delhi—what action has the government taken? Not a thing.”

The party added, “There are widespread complaints of dirty, contaminated water across the capital—what has the government done? Nothing at all. Entire colonies are reeling under a severe water shortage—has the government responded? No.”

“Delhi is crying out for basic necessities like clean water and uninterrupted electricity—and the government remains in denial, doing nothing. The BJP government must move beyond token meetings and begin addressing the genuine concerns of Delhi’s citizens. Public grievances flood social media every day—it’s time for real governance,” concluded AAP’s statement.
