Even from jail, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has forced the BJP and the central government to release the elderly’s pensions that were withheld for five months, exposing the BJP’s plan to halt Delhi’s progress by arresting its leader, CM Arvind Kejriwal, said senior AAP leader Durgesh Pathak. He pointed out that the BJP has arrested CM Arvind Kejriwal to sabotage the city’s development and distress its people.
Senior AAP leader and MLA Durgesh Pathak said that the conspiracy of BJP, its central government and Prime Minister Modi is now slowly coming to light and people are starting to understand everything. BJP’s motive behind arresting Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in a fake case was only to trouble every citizen of Delhi. The BJP tried to trouble the people of Delhi in every way by stopping the cleaning of sewers in Delhi, cutting off water connections, stopping people’s money, stopping the funds of the central government.
The AAP MLA continued, “Ever since Arvind Kejriwal’s government was formed in Delhi in 2015, the CM Arvind Kejriwal model has been discussed everywhere for the last 8 years. Everywhere people say that the Kejriwal government of Delhi is providing free electricity and water, providing free bus travel facility to women, modern electric buses are running in Delhi. Despite this, Delhi’s budget remains in surplus. There is no deficit, no loan has been taken.”
Durgesh Pathak further added that today government schools in Delhi are competing with big private schools, children are going to IIT and NEET. Children are getting their names removed from private schools and taking admission in government schools in Delhi. Apart from this, the Kejriwal government is running the ‘Farishtey’ Scheme, so that in case of a road accident, people can get immediate treatment. Government hospitals in Delhi have been improved and Mohalla Clinics are running in every street and locality.
“The Kejriwal model is being discussed all over the country. This has created panic in BJP, because when it goes among the public, people ask her that if Arvind Kejriwal can do all this, then why can’t the Chief Minister of BJP do it? Therefore, BJP hatched a deep conspiracy to stop the work of CM Arvind Kejriwal. Under this conspiracy, a fake case was orchestrated, raids and investigations were done at various places, and party leaders were arrested without any evidence,” stated the AAP MLA.
Durgesh Pathak mentioned that former Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain improved government hospitals and started Mohalla clinics, but BJP put him in jail to halt his efforts. Manish Sisodia, who made government schools excellent, was also arrested. Sanjay Singh, who questioned BJP in Parliament, was also arrested. Despite all this, they conspired to arrest the Chief Minister of Delhi to destroy the entire Delhi model. For the past one and a half years, the BJP has been determined to make life in Delhi hell. Whatever CM Arvind Kejriwal has accomplished in the last eight years, in response to that the BJP’s best effort was to put the Chief Minister in jail, stop all development works in Delhi, and harass the people of Delhi.
The AAP leader shared that the situation became even more dire when BJP halted the pensions of elderly people who love and support Arvind Kejriwal. For the past five months, BJP had stopped the monthly pension of ₹2,500 for the elderly in Delhi, forcing them to go from door to door. After sending Arvind Kejriwal to jail, BJP’s first move was to target the elderly of Delhi by stopping their pensions. However, even while being in jail, Arvind Kejriwal forced the BJP, its central government and Prime Minister Modi to relent.
“On Friday, the pensions for Delhi’s elderly were finally released. Many elderly individuals who used to ask me about their pensions are now thanking me. They say they have full faith in their son Arvind Kejriwal, and even though he is in jail, they believe he will be released soon’” he added.
Durgesh Pathak stated that if BJP and PM Modi have the misconception that they can stop the development of Delhi by putting Arvind Kejriwal in jail, then they are wrong. Arvind Kejriwal will come out soon and continue the remarkable development he has done in the last eight years. He will fulfill the dream of making Delhi a world-class city, and people will be proud of Delhi. This will ignite a spark of development in the entire country, and every person in their state will say that they too want schools, hospitals, and other facilities like those provided by the Kejriwal government.
“CM Arvind Kejriwal will come out soon, and the development of Delhi will resume. The BJP should stop its dirty politics now. The people of Delhi have already seen what BJP can do when given a chance. While being in charge of the MCD for 15 years, they worsened the condition of Delhi. Now, in a democracy, when the public has given a party a chance, it should be allowed to work,” concluded Durgesh Pathak.
