Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday called on the family of AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and expressed his solidarity in this hour of crisis.
Uddhav Thackeray was accompanied by Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) leader Aditya Thackeray and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut. AAP Rajya Sabha Members of Parliament Sanjay Singh and Raghav Chadha were also present at the meeting.
Giving details of the meeting, Sanjay Singh said the Shiv Sena leaders met Sunita Kejriwal and Arvind Kejriwal’s parents and family and discussed the current situation and the dictatorship that is prevailing. “In the case of Kejriwal sahab, this has happened for the first time in the history of Indian judiciary that without a copy of the order, his release was stopped, and a new CBI case was filed to keep him in jail. All these points were discussed,” he said.
Sanjay Singh said the ED, the CBI are such weapons of the government with which they want to suppress our voice, but we will all together fight this government, fight against the dictatorship of Modi-Shah. “Uddhav ji gave an assurance to Bhabhi Sunita Kejriwal and her family that everyone is standing with each other in these difficult times,” said the AAP Rajya Sabha MP.
